Mrs. Sanders: Hi, everybody! Welcome to the evening news. We are here with the latest news across the world.

Another disaster in another Asian country. 13 mountaineers died in an avalanche in Nepal. According to the National Disasters Ministry, they were nearly two kilometers away from the Everest camp.
We are in Italy now. The highest active volcano of Europe, Etna is back again. Authorities reported more than twenty earthquakes after Mount Etna eruptions this afternoon.
Drought in Africa continues. Nearly half of the continent can not reach drinking water. Lack of rain is the major reason of the drought.
Another continent Australia is experiencing flood since Monday. Heavy rains in the north of the continent caused flood and landslides. Nearly 80 people are still missing.
Back to Europe. Tornado hit the Amado beach in Portugal. A surfer, Enrique talked to the reporters and said “It was terrible. The clouds were all around us. It was really very fast.”
We have a guest in the studio. Mr. Samuel Rockwell. He is a scientist. He is studying on natural disasters for more than twelve years. Mr. Rockwell, what’s happening?
Mr. Rockwell: Thanks for inviting me Mrs. Sanders. These are all natural events. Natural resources are decreasing. The sea level is rising because of the global warming. So this will cause more natural disasters. There will be clean water shortages and in time we will not be able to reach food supplies.We must use the natural resources less. We have no time. We must respect nature, Mother Earth and save her so that we can survive.
