MY BESTIE

I’m Mike from 12-B. I want to introduce you to my best friend, Ted. We live in the same neighborhood and go to the same high school. He is 17 years old and a member of 11-A. He is tall and well-built with green eyes and long fair hair.

Ted is an energetic and outgoing boy. He finds it easy and enjoyable to be with others. Almost everyone likes spending time with him as he’s honest and humorous. He has also a great sense of humor. As his best friend, I can spend more time with him, and we can study together often. The thing I like most about Ted is that he is not a selfish person. He always wants to help other people without considering his benefits. Ted and I have a lot in common. We’re both keen on pop music and adventure movies. We play board games, especially checkers and chess. I always win. :) Also, we are keen on basketball. We both play for the local basketball team. He’s a great basketball player. Last but not least, we support the same football team. Ted and I differ from each other in some points. For instance, Ted is not punctual; I always have to wait for him outside for a while. I’m rather easygoing, but Ted is usually quick-tempered. It is difficult to change his mind, but I think I am flexible. He is quite a stubborn person, whereas I’m not.
