My lovely Paris! I’ve been in love with this city since I found about it in books and movies. (1)__ Visiting France one day has been on my bucket list for a very long time. So last year, it was the right time for the journey to begin. (2)_I received the best advice about life in Paris and contacted my host family. I was ready to leave Louisiana and spend 12 weeks in France to learn French! When I arrived in Paris, my host family welcomed me at the airport. They were a great family that supported me during my entire stay in the country I started my new school; it was in the city center. My teachers and the other students were so easy- going. After two weeks in the city, I started to make new friends, not only at school but also outside. Paris is really an awesome city, with a variety of activities. (3)_I joined the street art tours of the Butte Aux Cailles and the historical walking tours of Central Paris; I drank the best coffee in Arc de Triomphe cafes and I watched concerts in Opera National de Paris. I did so many things in 12 weeks that I cannot write here as the list may be quite long. It’s been six months since I came back home. (4)_ I developed my French skills and had a truly enriching experience on a personal level. I have friends from all over Paris, and I’m much more confident than ever. I miss Paris all the time and I can’t wait to go back. I recommend all the teenagers to travel to foreign countries and learn as many languages as they can.
