The narrator came to an intersection of two different roads while he was walking through a yellow wood. He thought that both roads were equally attractive and traveled. After he had chosen one of the roads, the narrator told himself that he would come back to this place again one day in order to try the other road. However, he realized that it wasn’t possible because his decision changed the future options and he could choose other roads to go on in the future.
