THE HISTORY OF HACKING IN HOLLYWOOD
The box-office success of the movies like ”The Imitation Game” and ”Gamer” is not a coincidence as the teenagers are so crazy about cyber world. That’s why the film industry has tended to create movies based on cyber stories.
By making ”War Games” (1983) the director John Badham started the whole story with the quest of the artificial intelligence. The movie tells about a high school boy sneaking into the system of his school to change his and his friends’ low marks. Unfortunately, he finds himself in trouble with the American and Russian military. He is almost about to start the World War III.
