At last we are back. The weekend vacation was a total disaster. I left packing to the last minute as usual. It was my first mistake. And guess what happened! We missed the plane. My Dad had to buy new tickets for the next flight. When we arrived at the hotel, we realised that it was far and far away from fulfilling our hopes and expectations; probably the worst hotel around. We should have taken into account so many things when deciding our hotel. We chose it by the look of its attractive photographs. We didn’t consider its location; 20 minute-walk to the beach. We didn’t pay attention to the hotel reviews either. Tens of customers were warning about not leaving money in the room. We got robbed! It was completely wrong for my mum and I to leave our purses inside. Thank goodness my dad took his wallet with him. :) The last night dinner was another tragedy. We were originally going to have dinner at Little Chef’s. I forgot to make the reservation, it completely slipped my mind. There was no free table. So we were guided to its next door restaurant. It was a gross misfortune of dining there. The food took so long to arrive that I almost broke into the kitchen and made them myself. And when they did, they were as cold as ice. Moreover, when the bill finally arrived, we paid a fortune. I’m happy that it’s already over.
Next time, I hope we’ll enjoy our vacation by planning your travel, accommodations, and activities ahead of time. Maya
