Kitapta görsellere önem verilmiş ve görsel tasarım Ayşe İNAN ALİCAN tarafından yapılmış. 3. Sınıf İngilizce Ders ve Çalışma kitabı cevapları hazırlanırken ise aynı zamanda dinleme metinlerine de yazılı olarak yer verildi.

Dinleme Metni: Hold up your book. Point to the pictures of the characters in the room. Ask who they can see and where they are.
• Pre-teach “round” and “square”. Point to the flashcard of the ball or take the ball. Say that it is round. Point to the different objects in the classroom to introduce “round” and “square”.
• Ask questions to practise the shapes: Is it round/square? Encourage the students to respond to your question like: Yes, it is. If the answer is “no”, the students may answer like: No. It’s square/round.
• Set the pre-listening questions: What colour is the kite? / How many blocks are there? (Use your body language to explain the questions.)

Play the CD. Students listen and point. They give the correct answer to your questions.

Play the video. Students watch the video.
After they watch the video, play the CD again. Students listen and point.
• After they watch the video and listen to the CD, ask the questions to check the comprehension: “What is red? / Is the button round?

Sue: Look at that kite. İt is blue and white. I like kites.
Tom: I like this green ball.
Ann: Do you have any blocks, Nick?
Nick: Yes, I do. Right över there!
Sue: How many blocks are there?

Tom: What is that?
Nick: Where is it?
Tom: Över there! İt is red and round.

Nick: Oh! İt is my button.
