Kitapta görsellere önem verilmiş ve görsel tasarım Ayşe İNAN ALİCAN tarafından yapılmış. 3. Sınıf İngilizce Ders ve Çalışma kitabı cevapları hazırlanırken ise aynı zamanda dinleme metinlerine de yazılı olarak yer verildi.

Objective: To practise the new pattern and sing a song.
• Hold up your book and point to the pictures of the toys in the song. Pre-teach “toy box”.
• Students talk about the toys using their previous knowledge (shape, colour…).
• Play the CD. Students listen to the song.
• Play the CD again. Stop after each line and let the students repeat the lines.
• Divide the class into two groups. They sing the song in groups.
• Elicit the meaning of the pattern “How many
……are there?” miming and showing the
pictures in the song.
• Make students respond to those questions sayingthequantityoftoys.Studentscananswer giving short answers or making full sentences.

Objective: To have further practice with the quantity of things using playing cards.
• İn this ach’vity, the students are going to prach’se asking and answering quesh’ons about the quantity of toys.
• Hold up your book and point to the photo of two children playing with the cards.

Teli the students to look at the cut-out page in their books. They prepare their own playing cards.
• Practice the activity in öpen pairs. They look at their cards and ask questi’ons about the quantity of toys. Their friends say how many the toys are.
• Divide the class into pairs. They ask and answer in pairs using playing cards.
• Monitor the class and help if necessary.
• After they tinish the ach’vity, invite volunteer pairs to the front of the class to ask and answer.
