• Wear your hat to show the students that it is story time.
• Ask the students which characters they can see in the pictures, where they are.
• Ask the students to guess what they are doing.
• Pre-teach the words “cookie, tea and tidy”.
• Students listen to the story and give the answers to your questions.
• Play the video. Students watch the video.
• Play the CD again. Stop after each sentence for the students to repeat.
• Ask some questions to check comprehension: Is the playroom big? / Where is the kettle? / Where is Sue’s mother? / What is she doing?

Tom: It’s a big house.
Nick: Sue, is your playroom big or small?
Sue: Of course, it is big.
Ann: I am hungry.
Sue: Let’s go to the kitchen.
Nick: Yummy! I like cookies.
