If I had more time, I would visit many attractions in my city. There are some historic places I really want to see. For example, I wish there were a beautiful old- fashioned theatre near my house. If only people could travel to distant places, they would learn more about other cultures and traditions. Last summer, my family and I decided to explore the local festival. We planned to taste some traditional street food like spicy curry and juicy barbecue. I really enjoy trying new dishes, especially when they are served at cheerful celebrations. If I had brought a bigger container, I would have taken some leftovers home because the food was delicious!

We used public transport to get to the festival. The underground trains are fast and affordable, but I wish there were more e-scooters available for short trips. If I lived closer to the city centre, I would walk to school instead of using the tube. Shall we visit the historic palace and admire the ancient statues next weekend? I promise you will love it! The palace is a real landmark and a highlight of our neighbourhood. If only more people knew about it, they would gather there more often.
