Naim SÜLEYMANOĞLU
of January, in 1967. He was born in Phichar, Bulgaria. He was the most known weightlifter because he was very strong and successful. His nickname was “the Pocket Hercules”. Unfortunately, he died when he was 50. It was very early.
Yıldız KENTER n 1928. She was
an amazing actress and lecturer. In 1962, she was awarded as ” the woman of the year” by the Theatre Services. Her husband was Şükran GÜNGÖR and her brother was Müşfik KENTER. They were talented actors. In 2007, Yıldız Kenter was named as UNICEF goodwill ambassador. She died on the 17th on November, 2019.
Oktay SİNANOĞLU
in 1935. His father was a consular official in Bari Consulate of Turkey. Oktay Sinanoğlu was a brilliant and successful student. He was appointed professor of chemistry in 1963. At the age of 28, he was the youngest full professor in Yale’s 20th century history. He was known as “The Turkish Einstein”. He died on 19th of April, 2015.
