Kevin: Good morning, Tom. I’m Kevin.
Tom: Good morning.
Kevin: How are you doing?
Tom: I’m doing fine, thank you.
Kevin: How was the traffic coming over here?
Tom: I am so glad that the traffic was light this morning. There was no traffic jam. Kevin: That is good. Let’s start the interview. Are you ready?
Tom: Yes, I am.
Kevin: First of all, let me introduce myself. I’m the Finance Department Manager. As you know there is an open position in my department.
Tom: What type of qualifications do you require?
Kevin: I require a four-year college degree in Finance. Some working experience would be helpful. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Tom: I was a student at East Coast University, and I graduated two years ago. Kevin: Do you have any experience?
Tom: I’ve been working part-time as a payroll clerk for the last two years. Kevin: What are your strengths? Why should I hire you?
Tom: I’m a hardworking person and a fast learner. I’m eager to learn and I get on well with people.
Kevin: Do you mind working long hours?
Tom: No, I don’t.
Kevin: Good. Do you have any questions?
Tom: No, I don’t. I hope to have the oppurtunity to work for you.
Kevin: I hope so. Nice meeting you, thank you for coming.
Tom: Nice meeting you, too. Thank you for seeing me.
