Some people prefer living in an apartment flat. There are some rules to live in a peaceful place.
You can’t be as relaxed as you are in a house with a garden. You are not completely independent as you have neighbors next to your flat or on the other floors. As your neighbors are close to you, you can’t listen to loud music, make noise late at night and you can’t pour water or anything else from the balcony. You must obey these rules, because one day when you are ill or in a bad mood, you may want your neighbors to be silent or turn the volume down. This doesn’t mean that you have to live like a prisoner. Sometimes, you must be tolerant towards your neighbors and they must also be to you.
Traffic is a very serious problem. There are lots of cars on the streets and so a lot of accidents happen every day. People must obey traffic rules. Drivers mustn’t exceed the speed limits. They must pay attention to the traffic signs. Pedestrians must use pedestrian crossing. At rush hours of the day, they must use public transportation, especially in the mornings and in the evenings because most people go to work in the mornings and they leave in the evenings.
You must care about what to wear and when to wear. Your clothes must be suitable for the season, otherwise you may become ill. Every season has a special clothing style. In winter, you must wear thick clothes such as an anorak, cardigan, jacket, coat, and boots. In summer, you must wear thin clothes such as a t-shirt, shorts, slippers and sandals.
In spring and autumn, as it is rainy, you must always have a raincoat or jacket. It is a good idea to carry an umbrella with you.
