Alper Gezeravcı, the first Turkish astronaut, fulfilled his space mission and returned to the Earth with the Dragon capsule. He was in the Falcon 9 rocket, which was launched into space from Florida. He stayed on the International Space Station for 14 days, but the total duration of the mission was 21 days. This was the first manned space mission of Türkiye. He conducted 13 scientific experiments that were about biology, medicine, genetics, physics, and materials science. During his mission on the International Space Station, he held 7 video conferences and established 2 radio communications with the Turkish Space Agency. After he arrived in Türkiye, he shared his feelings about this space mission. He felt proud and happy after completing the space mission successfully.
