Google engineers have tested self-driving cars on the highways and the roads of Nevada and California. The smart cars have managed to find alternative routes with the help of using their computerised maps. These cars have the ability to analyse and process the information about the surroundings they get from the cameras, lasers, and radars. Thus, the probability of human-caused accidents may reduce and this technology will allow the car to slow down or stop in case of emergency.
