Kitapta görseller ön plana çıkarılmış ve görsel tasarım ise Beyza DİRİK tarafından yapılmış.

Abel Nemeth is a Hungarian high school student. Last week, he was in Germany as a partner of European Union Commission Erasmus+ project on Street Art. In Marburg, he interviewed with Nikolaj Arndt, an exceptional 3D street artist,
forhis school’s project.

Hello, Nikolaj. We’d like to thank you for accepting to see us. Can you please introduce yourself? My name is Nikolaj Arndt. I paint oil paintings on canvas and chalk on the pavement.
How did you become a Street artist?
I really liked it in a Street Art Festival in Germany and I decided to draw on pavements.
İn what ways does it differ from traditional art for you?
Well, everybody can see a Street artist’s work. Streets always have much more audience than galleries.
Sure, they do. There are many kinds of Street Art work, aren’t there?
Yes, too many. Some of fhem are traditional graffiti arfwork, LED Art, a kind of lighf art, murals, which are painfed on large surfaces like walls or ceilings, wheat pasting; a kind of glue applied on paper to sfick up on the walls and Street installations; painfing real ifems in the streets to use 3D perspecfive.
Whaf maferials do you use?
I use chalk and pigment. The pigment is the same as chalk, only in powder. I use some wafer and sugar to dilufe the pigment. The sficky base profects the work.
Do you remember having any problems wifh the aufhorities about your arfwork?
No. I mosfly paint af fesfivals. During fesfivals, the aufhorities are doing everyfhing for us. İn some cifies, they fix the picfure wifh a special varnish to keep it as long as possible. And in some cifies, on the confrary, jusf affer the festival, they clean the picfures.
We’d like to do 3D Street art for our project. Whaf do you advise?
The main fhing in art is to give posifive emofions to the audience. When I see smiling people looking af my work, l’m happy.
