No matter how a good player you are, there is always something more to learn. Life is a game in which you learn something new each day. You are the white and the black is what you have to overcome. See each failure as a new opportunity. Focus on the right things at the right time to win over black and reach your goals.
The most significant thing is to make a good start. The game starts with meeting your opponent for the first time. This is sometimes a new friend, a teacher and sometimes a boss. A good start in a game means the same as a good first impression in life. Here are some ways to make a positive first impression:
• Adjust your attitude.
Think about the situation and choose the right attitude before you go on a stage or enter a new classroom. Be positive and believe in yourself.
• Straighten your posture.
Keep your head up, shoulders back, chest out, and stomach in. You will feel more confident.
• Smile.
